Sebo Drive Belt Primary for x1 x4 5379

This is the main belt from the motor to the bearing block. On the older machines.

Check the compatible with list to see what machines this part fits. 
Fits - All X1 machines and  X4 machines with a Grey Sensor and serial codes that start from letter L onwards

Important - Please ensure the code number on the original belt is 5379 this is for the older machines the newer machines have a different belt number (5463).

If you can’t find the belt number the following may help.
Count the teeth on the motor cog as below.
22 teeth on the cog uses belt 5463 (Yellow Sensor)
16 teeth on the cog uses belt 5379 (Grey Sensor)

On most of the Sebo upright vacuum clears there is a 2 belt system and this belt is one of them.

This is the primary belt for the X1 and X4 machines but you can see here a list showing what Sebo Belt fits your machine.

This belt fits from the motor to the sensor on a older machine that has the Grey sensor.

For a newer machine the Sebo Belt will be 5463 which is used with a Yellow Sensor.

Sebo Belts are toothed belts that work on the cogs of the motor etc and most of the tie will not stretch.

However they can snap with the main cause being an object stuck in the roller of the vacuum.

You can find the part number of the Sebo Belt written on the old belt which in this case should be 5379.

When fitting this Sebo Belt make sure you release the sensor fixings and you will need to remove the secondary Sebo Belt as well as this will be in the way.

Its not recommended to use a non-genuine belt on these vacuum cleaners as there is a lot of strain on these belts in normal operation and as most of the Sebo’s come with a 5 year warranty it’s a must to use genuine parts.
