Tumble dryer belts often slip or snap, due to wear and tear so the only real solution is to buy a new replacement!

Your tumble dryer uses a single, grooved drive belt that connects the motor to the dryer's drum. When you start the dryer, a pulley on the end of the motor's shaft turns the belt, which then turns the drum.

Drum drive belts are subject to wear and over time this can weaken the belt until it reaches its breaking point. When the belt snaps, the drum will no longer turn to tumble the clothes in the dryer's hot air. This means your clothes will not dry even if the heating element and motor continue to function.

This replacement Poly-V Belt, or Ribbed Belt as it is also known, resembles a flat belt – but with V-shaped ribs along the inside surface for increased friction force between the pulley and the belt.

Replace the dryer belt with a new one to restore the tumble dryer to working order.
