COVID-19 | EU Shipping Import Duty

EU Import Duty & Tax

As a result of the Uk leaving the EU all orders going to an EU country will now be ex VAT this means you do not pay UK VAT on your order. At this moment in time we will not be collecting any tax or import duty at the checkout. This may change in the future however.

We will be using a postal or courier service that will collect the tax and if over 150 Euro (£135) the import duty too. There will also be a small handling charge that may be charged by these services.

This will be the normal procedure from now on, please see further advice from your local authorities regarding this issue.

By now we are all aware of the severity of Coronavirus worldwide, and no doubt exhausted from the worry of it all. I wanted to let you know how Spares2you is currently dealing with the situation.

We have been closely following the recommendations from the government and World Health Organisation, and monitoring daily Coronavirus (COVID-19) updates.

At the moment, our website are operating as normal and we remain open for business. We will do our utmost to keep our website and warehouse trading as long as it is possible, and have taken additional hygiene measures to keep our staff safe and employed, and ensure your parcels arrive with you safely.
