Sebo Drive Belt Primary for x1 x4 5379

This is the primary drive belt running from the motor to the bearing block on older SEBO X1 and X4 vacuum cleaners.

Compatibility

This belt fits:

• All SEBO X1 machines
• SEBO X4 machines fitted with a grey sensor
• Machines with serial numbers beginning with the letter L onwards

Important: check your existing belt

Only order this belt if 5379 is printed on your existing belt.

If your existing belt is marked 5463, this belt will not fit. Please order belt 5463 instead.

If you cannot find the belt number

Count the teeth on the motor cog:

• 16-tooth motor cog with a grey sensor: use belt 5379
• 22-tooth motor cog with a yellow sensor: use belt 5463

Additional information

Most SEBO upright vacuum cleaners use a two-belt system. This is the primary belt, which runs from the motor to the bearing block.

SEBO belts are toothed to engage with the cogs inside the machine. They generally do not stretch, but they can snap—most commonly when an object becomes trapped in the brush roller.

When fitting this belt, the sensor fixings must be released. The secondary belt will also need to be removed temporarily because it obstructs access.

We recommend using only genuine SEBO belts. These belts are placed under considerable strain during normal operation, and genuine parts should be used to maintain reliability and warranty compliance.
